Hello and welcome! My name's Yaël and I'll be performing my internship on Immuno-parasitology within the Dublin City University. During this 4-month stay, I will provide you with weekly updates on my progress, widely ranging between fields such as Research, Life on Campus and Éire!

While staying abroad (with my homebase back at Bruges, Belgium), I will be projected to a number of tasks! These being but not limited to: Surviving the cold climate on this peculiar island, learning a wide variety of lab techniques and learning some Gaeilge (also known as Irish).

Eventually, I plan on boldly going where no man has ever gone before...
